The Case Catering Story
It all started with a cinnamon cake…after successfully baking my first cinnamon cake over break one summer, I was hooked. I knew I wanted to work in the food service world. With that in mind, I attended Morrisville College after graduating from Wellsville High School, receiving my degree in Hotel, Restaurant, Institutional Food Management. Degree in hand, I spent ten years in New York State’s Capital District working for the Marriott Corporation and a private caterer. The knowledge I gained during these years I would later put to use as I started my own business. After many years in the food service industry, I decided it was time to explore other career paths.
My degree allowed me to get management positions with various organizations over the years. Gradually I worked my way from the Capital District to Corning and finally back to Allegany County. Through it all, my love of cooking stayed with me. In the fall of 2007, I sat down with my sister and we concluded it was time…time go back to what I loved, time to return to the food service industry. Only this time, I was going to work for myself and start my own catering business.
Case Catering launched in the spring of 2008. It is the culmination of years of experience, months of planning and preparation and a lot of hard work…all tied together with a love of cooking. Our mission is simple: To provide complete, professional catering services to organizations and the community, emphasizing quality and affordability. No gimmicks, just great food!

A Message from Brian
Case Catering is the realization of a dream…my dream. Starting a business is a long, sometimes frustrating, and yet very rewarding process. There were many challenges along the way and at times, it may have seemed easier to give up. Finally, the day arrived. Case Catering opened for business and my dream came true. Although I know there are still challenges and hard work ahead, I know it will be worth it. And so, my message to all of those who ever wanted to take a chance and follow their dream is…go for it! You never know what will happen unless you try.
Thank you to all who have supported me and helped me follow my own dream and thank you to all of Case Catering’s customers…past, present and future!
